About Us

Touch Of Love by JL Educational Academy is an Illinois DCFS Licensed, Silver Circle of Quality approved Family Childcare Program. We believe in fostering the growth of every child through Redleaf Family Childcare Curriculum, peer interaction, and milestone development. Children are provided a safe, healthy, loving, and nurturing learning environment; every child is encouraged to try their best and learn at his/her own individual pace.

We are grateful for every opportunity to impact a child’s life educationally, emotionally, and socially, we look forward to a prosperous partnership with a child’s family to provide developmentally appropriate activities and materials to meet the educational need of the children in our program. We strive not only to provide a challenging academic program but a safe, and loving environment where children are free to explore and learn. Our goal at Touch Of Love by JL Educational Academy is to provide children and the families we serve with a quality education to the best of our capability. We take partial responsibility in the primary care of young learners to assist in their growth socially, emotionally, and intellectually through age-appropriate developmental programs in a safe, nurturing, and caring learning environment.

Touch Of Love by JL Educational Academy is an active participant in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) children will be served a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack. The nutritious meals and snacks are from the Food for You Menus, which are approved by Illinois Action For Children Healthy Food Program.

In correlation to the general program curriculum we implement the Eat, Play, Grow Curriculum which offers engaging activities, general facts, and simple strategies that make healthy choices fun and easy to include in daily routines.

The educators at Touch Of Love by JL Educational Academy are committed to providing a safe, happy and healthy learning environment. Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are reviewed and revised annually to assure we are following the most current guidance and policies issued by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, ExceleRate Illinois, CDC, and Illinois Department of Public Health.

Touch Of Love by JL Educational Academy provides Transportation Services for enrolled families. Transportation for destination field trips, shopping trips, and to/from the program location to neighboring schools within the local school district.
